A Beautiful Thing

Love isn’t tidy. It isn’t perfect. Most days, it’s a bit of a mess. We come with scars, with hurt, with old stories about ourselves that tell us: this will never last. And yet—sometimes, against all odds, it does.

A Beautiful Thing is my song for the kind of love that keeps showing up, even when it’s tired. The kind that breaks a few plates, says the wrong thing, gets it wrong, but doesn’t walk away. The kind that laughs again the next morning and keeps going.

What amazes me is how something so imperfect can become so precious. Maybe that’s the beauty of it—that real love isn’t flawless, but it endures. And in enduring, it turns into something far more than I ever hoped for.

That’s what I wanted to hold in this song. Not the fairy tale. Not the picture-perfect version. But the truth of two people who choose each other, again and again, and in the choosing, become a beautiful thing.
